Forecast what's coming and get the best plan for it, not just a spreadsheet.
Plan-to-Profit combines machine-learning forecasts with optimisation, the maths that finds the best plan among millions of options. Xgorithm uses it to plan production, stock, delivery routes and staff rosters, and your planners can ask why the plan changed and get a plain answer.
What usually gets in the way
- 1
Plans live in spreadsheets and heads
Weekly production plans, delivery routes and rosters are built by hand from experience, which works until that person is on holiday or demand shifts.
- 2
Forecasts arrive too late to help
Demand data exists, but it is not turned into a forecast in time to change what you make, order or schedule this week.
- 3
Every rule makes planning harder
Delivery windows, shelf life, driver hours, staff skills and rest rules all have to be respected at once, which is where hand-built plans start to cost money.
How Plan-to-Profit works
Add a promotion or a bank holiday to a sample product line and watch the forecast and the production plan adjust.
- 1
Forecast
We train a forecast on your own history by product, customer or site, and show how certain it is.
- 2
Optimise
An optimisation model turns the forecast into the best plan that respects every rule you work to.
- 3
Explain
Planners see what changed and why, and can try "what if" questions before they commit.
- 4
Run daily
The forecast and plan update automatically as new orders and data arrive.
Change the week ahead
- Batches, next 4 weeks

Illustrative figuresWhat Plan-to-Profit does for your team
Production and stock plans
Plans that balance demand, shelf life, changeovers and capacity, so you make and hold what you will sell.
Delivery routes
Daily routes that respect delivery windows, driver hours and van capacity while covering fewer kilometres.
Staff rosters
Fair rosters that respect skills, rest rules and preferences, built in minutes instead of days.
What-if questions
Planners can test a promotion, a missing driver or a late delivery and see the effect before deciding.
Explanations in plain English
Every plan comes with the reasons behind it, so planners stay in charge of the decision.
Works with your data
We start from the exports you already have and connect to your ERP, telematics or rostering system later.
How we prove it works for you
A first pilot usually takes 4–8 weeks on one plan, such as next week's production or tomorrow's routes. Before it starts, we agree which of these numbers matters most to you and how we will measure it.
- Forecast accuracy against your current method
- Waste, stock-outs and on-time-in-full
- Kilometres per delivery or agency hours, depending on the plan
- Time it takes to build the plan
Security and compliance
- Your data is hosted in the EU by default.
- Client data is not used to train AI models.
- Planners approve every plan before it is used.
- Every plan is stored with the inputs and rules that produced it.
- We document the system to EU AI Act and GDPR standards as we build it.
Systems we connect it to

Questions people ask us
What is optimisation, and how is it different from AI forecasting?
A forecast predicts what will happen, such as next week's orders. Optimisation then works out the best plan for that forecast, such as which batches to run or which van visits which stop, while respecting all your rules. Plan-to-Profit uses both.
How much history do we need?
For a weekly forecast, one to two years of sales or order history is usually enough to start. We check your data in the first call.
Will it replace our planners?
No. It removes the slow, manual part of building the plan, and planners make the final decision with the reasons in front of them.
How much does it cost?
It depends on the plan and the data involved, so we quote after a 30-minute call. Every engagement starts with a fixed-price pilot.
